Recently,the first six UHV converter transformers applied in the converter station of Brazil Meilishan Hydropower±800kV UHV DC Transmission Phase II Project(hereinafter referred to as"Brazil Meilishan Phase II Project"),the first UHV DC transmission project won overseas by China,were shipped at Shanghai Zhanghuabang Wharf,China XD Group Xi'an XD Transformer Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as"XD XD Transformer")actively participates in the national"the Belt and Road"construction with high-quality"Made in China"ultra-high voltage equipment.

Brazil Meilishan Phase II Project has realized the"going out"of the integration of China's ultra-high voltage transmission technology,electrical equipment,engineering general contracting and operation management,which will drive the export of nearly 5 billion yuan of domestic electrical equipment,promote the global application of ultra-high voltage transmission technology,norms and standards,and promote international cooperation and mutual benefit and win-win results in advantageous production capacity.It is an important practice to promote the national"the Belt and Road"construction and international production capacity cooperation strategy.

Re optimization of key technologies

Xidian Xibian won the bid for 7 sets of ZZDFPZ-396830／500-800 converter transformers and 7 sets of ZZDFPZ-389920／500-800 converter transformers in Brazil Meilishan Phase II±800kV UHV converter station project.Due to the local humid,hot,rainy and high salt fog environment in Brazil and the requirements for maintenance free operation and rapid replacement,these products have low requirements for loss value and temperature rise,high insulation level and high requirements for the overall reliability of products.

During the design process of the project,the technicians of the West Power West Substation have interpreted the relevant Brazilian standards and special requirements in detail,and are familiar with the relevant local specifications and requirements.On the basis of using the mature±800kV converter transformer design scheme of the West Power West Substation,further optimize the main insulation and lead insulation structure of the±800kV converter transformer,and improve the electrical design scheme.At the same time,scientific and reasonable measures have been taken to ensure the reliability and operation stability of the product in view of the high requirement that the overall operation availability of the product should reach 99.5%or more.

Xidian Xidian Transformer Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as"Xidian Transformer")has undertaken the ordering,design,main material supply,shipment,installation and commissioning site services of Brazil Meilishan Phase II,and completed the manufacturing in the ultra-high voltage workshop of Changzhou Xidian Transformer Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as"Xidian Transformer").In 2017,Ximeng Taizhou±800kV UHV project product,the first UHV converter transformer with the largest capacity and the highest grid side voltage level in China designed by Xidian Xibian substation,was completed here.

High quality performance on schedule

The site of Brazil Meishan Phase II Project is far away from the ocean.According to the requirements of"100%of the first pass rate in factory test,100%of the first pass rate in field operation,and international leading performance indicators",100%of all components,accessories,and parts for secondary control of products of Brazil Meishan Phase II Project have been installed in place,creating a precedent for debugging converter transformer control system in the factory,Sufficient preparations have been made for the successful completion of subsequent on-site product installation and commissioning.

The West Power West Transformer Substation further strengthened the material supply work,improved the supplier management procedures and supplier supervision management system,strengthened the review and supervision of suppliers,and ensured the overall high-quality and on-time performance of Brazil Meilishan Phase II products by improving the supplier's supply quality and performing on schedule.

The transportation route of the products of Brazil Meili Mountain Phase II Project is long,and it will take 3-4 months to arrive at the site.The contract performance office of Xidian Xidian has carefully planned the transportation route.The first batch of products starts from the canal terminal of Xidian Changbian,arrives at the Zhanghuabang wharf of Shanghai Port via the canal,the Yangtze River and the Huangpu River,and is shipped by sea through the Pacific,Panama Canal and the Atlantic Ocean.Three of them go ashore after being transferred from the Brazilian Belem Port to the inland river for transportation,and three of them land at the Idaguayi Port,and arrive at Xingu Converter Station and Rio Converter Station respectively by road.

In view of the special circumstances of long-distance sea transportation of the project and the packaging requirements proposed by CEC,the West Power West Substation has formulated a scientific and thorough shipping and installation assurance plan and emergency plan,and specially formulated a transformer packaging,storage,transportation and protection plan.More than 30 business backbones of design,process,test,service and other departments were carefully selected.They were ready to go on an expedition to Brazil for installation and commissioning at any time,and earnestly fulfilled the promise of reassuring,reassuring and comfortable customers.
